After a successful career as a basketball player, assistant coach and head coach at The University of Louisville, David decided to get into the Wealth Management field and become a Financial Advisor.  Having most recently worked for several years at Morgan Stanley, David is excited to join Farnsley Advisors and looks forward to helping families navigate the financial planning and wealth management process. He brings a wealth of relationship-building skills, trust, and care that are vital in providing first class client service. 

 

A native of Reno, Nevada, David was a McDonald’s All-American player out of Reno High School and attended the University of Kansas during his freshman year before transferring to The University of Louisville.  While playing for the Cardinals he went on to become a three-time team captain and a unanimous first team All Big East selection his senior year while leading the Cardinals to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.  After graduating with a B.A. in Political Science, he spent two years playing professionally before getting into the coaching world with stops at IUPUI and Louisville.

In addition to being a Financial Advisor, David works as a college basketball analyst  for the ESPN networks.  He resides in Louisville with his wife, Megan, and their boys, Nolan and Gavin.  He enjoys playing sports with his boys, going to the lake during the summer, and spending time with family and friends.
